Pre-season friendly called off

Belgium Police have confirmed that the game set to take place on Wednesday 16th July has had to be withdrawn from the pre-season fixture list because the Belgian Police have told Genk that they will not be able to provide security of sufficient standard for the game.

The two other games of the Blades Tour of Europe are still to be played. Those are against Ferencvaros (Hungary) and Helmond Sport (Holland). The Blades last game out of the UK was a 1:0 victory over Fradi (Ferencvaros) at the Albert Stadion.
