Palace, Wolves, Ipswich and Sheffield United are all in the hunt for 6th place. Here are the preview's and a observations for the play-off run in for the above teams.
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace face Hull City who came to the Lane on Saturday and lost 2:1. The Eagles and Tigers both look set for the play-offs but considering Hull's position a few weeks back, it would be a dissapointment to finish in the play-offs as it looked to be set on the cards for automatic promotion.
Former United manager and Blade himself Neil Warnock in his press interview said not to expect any favours from his Palace side.
Wolverhampton Wanderers
A on form Wolves team take on Coventry City at the Ricoh who are battling for their Championship status. An impressive 3:0 win over play-off rivals Cardiff City in midweek meant that they put more and more pressure on Palace and ensured they are now only two points behind the London outfit.
Ipswich Town
The Tractor Boys opponents are Alan Irvine's Preston North End. The battle will take place at Deepdale where Preston's form of late has been reasonable.
Sheffield United
The Blades need a win to keep the play-off dreams alive with two games reaming. If Palace win then the Blades will have to wait another season for a chance to make it to the promis land. United face play-off and automatic challengers Bristol City.
We have not included Plymouth or Charlton in the play-off race because they now mathematically cannot make the promise land. Check on Saturday evening for play-off run in (part 5).
