On the 4th of October 2015 Bramall Lane will open it’s gates at midday for a few lucky members of the public to play on their brand new million pound pitch in a match which sees the two mighty clubs of Sheffield come together to battle it out for the Master Cutler’s FA(KE) Cup.

Dave McCarthy, Operations Director for United has confirmed that local heroes such as Chris Morgan and Tony Currie will captain and manage the United team whilst John Pearson at Sheffield Wednesday has secured Terry Curren to manage the Owls with celebrity captain to be revealed.  Refereeing legend Howard Webb will oversee the game and is hoping to keep his red card firmly in his pocket.

All money raised from this game will go to the Master Cutler, David Grey’s charity of the year, Brathay Trust.  Master Cutler, David Grey commented “I am delighted to support Brathay Trust and the work that they do helping the most disadvantaged children in the Sheffield Region.  I have already bagged my place on the United team, lucky number 3. It will truly be a once in a lifetime experience for me.”

For your chance to participate in this fantastic event, please donate £2.50 to Brathay Trust where you will be entered into a draw. Please specify which team you wish to be in the draw for - the Blades or the Owls.  One entry from each team will be drawn by Master Cutler, David Grey on Wednesday 23rd September at midday!  Ensure you put your full name and phone number in the message field when you donate or we won't know who you are!

Please do not Gift Aid your donation as this is not eligible for Gift Aid.
