The Cameroon striker whom started his career with Italian giants Juventus was signed by Neil Warnock on loan from Portsmouth in September 2005 on a three month loan; making his debut as a substitute in a 2-1 home win over Derby County..
He scored in 4-0 wins at Millwall and at home to Luton Town before returning to Fratton Park. During his time at S2 he made 3 (+8) appearances for the club and scored twice.
Now without a club he has returned to Lane as a trialist and featured in last nights 2-1 defeat to Walsall Reserves at Sheffield FC - he had spent the summer on trial with Cardiff City, Bristol City and Blackpool with little success.
Blades Assistant boss Sam Ellis said: "Vincent rang me in midweek because he knew me from our Stoke City days and told me that he needed a game because he is getting over a bad injury.
"It was a personal favour which we were happy to do, so that is job done. I don't see anything else happening before this weekend but we will be busy in the International break."
The Sheffield United Reserves are next in action when they face Tranmere Rovers in Dronfield on Wednesday, 7 October 2009.
