Sheffield United have completed the signing of Argentinian defender Elian Parrino on a season-long loan from Estudiantes. Parrino, who played against the Blades in the pre-season friendly at Bramall Lane and made his first appearance for the reserves against city rivals Sheffield Wednesday last week, wants to make the move permanent. The 22-year-old told the club's official website: "I was really happy when the chance to join Sheffield United came up because I enjoyed the pre-season match here. "Argentinians love English football and once I was told that I could sign here it was an easy decision. "My aim is to force my way into the team, do well and work hard to get a longer contract with Sheffield United."
