Page, who served the Blades as a player during Neil warnock's reign was said on last Saturday's performance "most complete performance of the season."
Page said: "I'm really proud of every one of our players and for the effort they put in. If we had won by three of four goals I don't think anyone could have complained. We've played very well in previous games against Wigan, Doncaster and Burnley, but that was the most complete performance from back to front this season. The only disappointment was conceding a goal right at the end. I felt we deserved a clean sheet.
"Sheffield United are an excellent team. We stood strong initially and then imposed ourselves on them and I couldn't be more pleased. I've also got to mention Jak Alnwick for his fantastic save from Billy Sharp just after half-time. It was the first thing I spoke about after the match because that was as good as a centre-forward scoring a goal."
