Blades boss Kevin Blackwell left his Luton Town job after the Kenilworth Road club came under financial uncertainty and imediatly teamed up once again with Sheffield United following Bryan Robson's departure.
Kenny told sufc.co.uk prior to the 3-1 defeat at Preston North End: "Everyone knows what the gaffer is about, he is confident and likes things his way.
"The players have responded well to that and things have really picked up in recent weeks.
"We have got six games left and must try and win all of them to see where that takes us. It is going to be an exciting end to the season as every team we play will have something to play for."
