Nosworthy, 29 played nineteen times for Sheffield United whilst on loan from the Black Cats, making his debut in a 3-0 defeat at Watford in February 2010.
Several attempts to sign the defender permanently had been made; but due to problems agreeing a transfer fee the club have opted on the loan option.
