Leigh Genesis, formerly Leigh RMI have appointed Fluitcroft as manager today and will take charge at tonights fixture at Frickley Athletic.
Flitcroft, 36 retired from football at the end of the 2005-06 having won promotion with Sheffield United. He was signed by Neil Warnock in January 2006 in a free transfer from Blackburn Rovers and made his debut in a 3-1 home win against Brighton & Hove Albion, replacing Steven Kabba as an 88th minute substitute - and made his full debut in a 0-0 draw at Plymouth Argyle.
