The 31 year old Zimbabwean International still had a year left on his contract but was placed on the transfer list by Neil Warnock.

"Obviously I need to bring players in and releasing Peter will help me in that direction," Warnock told sufc.co.uk
"I believe Peter has had a good offer from South Africa, which I think he will take.
"I'd like to thank him for some great moments, but I think he'll agree he didn't have the best of seasons last year."
