McNulty, 23 has joined the Valley Parade club on a season's long loan deal, owing to the Blades completing the deal to bring in former Sheffield Wednesday forward Caolan Lavery yesterday.
"I am excited to join a big club like Bradford. I had a few options but I always wanted to come here once I knew of their interest," McNulty said. "With the size of the club, the manager and the fan-base, it was a no-brainer." As part of the deal, the Scot can be recalled by United in January.
Meanwhile, Kieran Wallace (pictured), 21 has joined League One rivals Fleetwood Town in a similar deal, joining the Highbury club on a season's long loan. He was signed from Ilkeston in November 2014 but has found first team opportunities scarce.
Blades boss Chris Wilder believes the loan move is a great opportunity for Wallace;: “Kieran is one of the lads we transfer listed in the summer and he wants to play more regularly so this is a great opportunity for him. We wish him all the best.”
