He told SpursTV: "I'm getting on really well with everyone and everyone seems so friendly.
"It's great to be here and I didn't think in my wildest dreams that I would be playing at this level so soon in my career. I'm excited, and I can't wait to try and break into the team here and play to the best of my ability in the Premier League."
Speaking to sufc.co.uk the day before, he said: "This last year has been absolutely unbelievable for me and it is incredible that my career has taken off to such an extent.
"If things had gone differently for us at Wembley then I am sure that I would still be at the lane but this is a chance I now feel I should take.
"Everyone knows that I will always remain a Blade at heart and I can't thank United fans and the staff there enough for what they have done for me. Nothing will please me more than to see United reach the Premiership sooner rather than later."
