He said: "Bar the result, it was nice to play 90 minutes at Norwich, it's something I felt I've needed from a confidence point of view.
"I've played at some big grounds now, like Derby and Norwich, and that was part of the reason I came to Walsall - having the opportunity to play in big matches.
"And I thought we played better on Saturday than we have done during the last few matches, so there are plenty of positives to take into what is a massive game on Saturday," McSporran told the official Walsall website.
"If we get at them right from the start, I'm sure we can get the right result."
