The rich business man talked about the clubs season ticket prices, the clubs support and Kevin Blackwell's long term future at the Lane.
He started on the season ticket prices:"We keep our season ticket prices to a minimum and the latest stats show that Sheffield United are the best supported club outside the Premier League. If you are looking to make progress on the field youv'e got to keep your prices low.
"We've got a big stadium, good support so we have got to recognise to keep that support."
Questioned on the clubs support he said:"You would go back not too many years ago when we were down to 12,000 but now we have 25,000 in the Championship where many of the games are played against small clubs. I can't remember the last time Sheffield United wern't the best supported club in the Championship, so it's fantastic and that's what we are really aiming to do.
"I feel we can get nine points from our last three games, but realistically in our position there are other clubs above us with a bigger shout."
The question what all Blades fans were waiting for is will Kevin Blackwell going to be at Bramall Lane next season. Here's what he had to say.
"Kevin has shown great qualities since he re-joined us at the Lane. Motivational qualities, consistency so it's put him in a good position but i did say that when Kevin came back to the Lane that we will wait until the end of the season, so theres 3 games to go."
The Radio Sheffield presenter Seth Bennett asked him what else would he have to do to get the job full-time. McCabe replied:"What Kevin needs to do is sit down with myself and talk through the strategy of getting back to the Premiership. We've not really had that gap to talk at the sufficient time about strategies but will so at the end of April."
Seth Bennett was trying to get a gut feeling out of McCabe asking him if McCabe has a feeling that he would be at the club next season. McCabe finished:"I don't know because i haven't met up with him yet so, at the end of April i will answer your gut feeling question. He's done himself credit and no one can fault his effort and commitment for the club."
