Old Pro Tony Currie will manager the team to glory on 11 July and take them to the Final on 4 September, which is an added attraction as for the first time in it's four year history the final venue has been moved from its London home to Sheffield.
United, however have only ever made the final once which was last year where they lost in first round to eventual winners Manchester City.
If the Blades are to achieve the Masters Football trophy then they will do so without a keeper. Paul Beesley, Paul Wood, Tom Cowans, David Barnes, Carl Bradshaw, Chris Wilder, Glyn Hodges, John Gannon, Tony Agana and Peter Beagrie have all been selected in the 5-a-side tournament.

Chris Kamara (Leeds), Andy Dibble, David White (both Man City), Mark Patterson, David Lee (both Bolton), Brett Angel (Everton), Hans Segers (Tottenham), Martin Kuhl (Portsmouth), Glenn Cockerill (Southampton), Alan McLeary and Graham Stuart (both Charlton).
Sheffield United's current fitness coach Tony Daley has also been selected for Aston Villa in there Midland Masters clash. Stuart MCCall has also been selected for Glasgow Rangers, he qualifies as players must be 35 or older.
