Blades fans are urging the powers that be at Sheffield United to pull all the stops to make Sunderland midfielder Andy Reid a Blade for longer.
The 28-year-old has undoubted Premier League quality and it was evidently shown on Saturday when he, without any panic, hammered United to a 1:0 victory down at Millwall with a sublime goal.
Reid's loan at S2 expires at the end of this month against Bristol City, and with only two games left before he's scheduled to return to the North East, he has confessed that he's enjoying his time at Bramall Lane and would be keen to stay for even longer.
He said: "Life's good at Sheffield.
"Everyone's been good to me, the manager, the players, fans, everybody. So it's enjoyable.
"I want to get games in and see how it goes from there.
"I'm just going to get on with playing football and let people who deal with that side of things sort that out.
"Just get on the pitch and play. That's all I want to do."
