Sheffield United's latest signing Rob Kozluk turned down offers from other clubs in favour of a return to Bramall Lane. Kozluk, 32, who left United for Barnsley three years ago, has opted to sign a one-year deal with the Blades. He said: "When you leave somewhere you've been for a long time you don't always realise what you have left behind and put it behind you too easily. "I had some great times at Barnsley, but there is no doubt that this is a bigger club in terms of potential etc, and I'm surprised and delighted to be back. "I had quite a few offers, but when I heard that United were interested they all had to take a back seat." Kozluk added: "From day one when I started training with United a couple of weeks ago, Kevin Blackwell made it abundantly clear that a contract would have to be earned and that there was no room for sentiment."
