Baxter, who is currently suspended by the League One club after proving positive for a prohibited recreational substance will discover his fate within the next 24 hours.
Neither the player or the Football Club have been willing to extend on the matter, other than his suspension, with unconfirmed rumours circulating the Internet that he has already moved out of his Sheffield home. It is believed the testing took place on 16 February, following the Blades 1-0 defeat at Bury.
If found guilty he could face a lengthy ban from football.
