Media reports have been indicating that Sheffield United's pint-sized worthy acquisition from Chesterfield could be departing and joining up with Roberto Di Matteo's West Brom, but the player's agent has put down reports linking the fans' favourite with a move to The Hawthorns.
Culbertson assures Unitedites that Wardy is going nowhere and that the player is eyeing a new deal at Bramall Lane. He said: "As far as the West Brom link goes I am not aware of any truth in the matter.
"Jamie is very happy at Sheffield United and he is a big fans' favourite there. I know Kevin Blackwell rates Jamie very highly and I think it is just paper talk.
"Sheffield United are very happy with Jamie's progress and I plan to sit down with them at the end of the year and discuss a new deal possibly for Jamie."
He finished: "He has two years left on his contract and hopefully he will get rewarded with an extension."
It would be demoralising to see the Aston Villa youngster leave Bramall Lane, but Mr Culbertson's comments are certainly warming. Ward has netted four times and has predominantly played on the right-wing for United this season. He most famously scored the opening goal in the 3:2 thriller against Sheffield Wednesday in September.
You only have to look at his celebration (see image above) to see how much scoring in the Steel City Derby and being at Sheffield United means to him!
