Jagielka, 23 was outstanding in last seasons Championship campaign as the Blades finished a respectable second to gain automatic promotion to the Premier League, and along the way picking up the leagues number one play - as voted by the players themselves.
Last summer he was targeted by a number of clubs - including then newly promoted West Ham United and Wigan Athletic, he opted to stay with the Blades. In the past he has also been linked with moves to Charlton Athletic, Manchester United and Middlesbrough.
The Midfielder told the Sheffield Star: "It doesn't really bother me, I'm not looking to leave.
"There have been talks between my agent and the club and I'm sure they'll sit down again at some stage.
"Of course I'd like to get it sorted out but the manager is talking about bringing in a couple of other players and he's very, busy. If he was just sat around sunbathing after training and still nothing had happened then I'd be worried but that's not the case."
