It's a no for the trialists

Three trialists including a Norwegian international didn't step up to the plate in their week trial at the Shirecliffe training ground. But despite turning away a triple of trialists, the Blades will continue to pursue promising prospects.

Manager Kevin Blackwell said: "They all did okay but at this stage I won't be taking things any further with them. It is difficult for anyone to impress in a short time when I am looking for players better that what I have - but we shall run the rule over another couple next week."
