Hulse who has didn't score last season was given some criticism with the lack of goals with the chances missed he produced. Hulse 28, has received a lot of interest from the Derbyshire side as the Rams Chairman Adam Pearson can confirm.
He said:"Rob's definitely a player that interests us. He's a player that definitely interests the manager (Paul Jewell)," Pearson revealed. I think they're saying they want to keep him now because it puts them in a stronger position.
"But if you're sitting on seven centre forwards, the bottom line is that you have to sell some of them."
Blades boss Kevin Blackwell told BBC Radio Sheffield:"Rob Hulse isn't going anywhere, we decide who goes where and when they go."
Sheffield United declined to comment. Meanwhile The Sheffield Star indicates that Middlesbrough are linked with a £2m move for United midfielder Stephen Quinn.
