Gaffer on Cotts

The Welshman was a regular starter at the close of last season and was grabbed in the summer transfer window at the beginning of the current campaign. Unfortunately for some reason or another, the 21 year old hasn't been up to it throughout this season, although an impressive performance in the FA Cup last Saturday has made the Gaffer re-think.

Blackwell said: "After the game against Hull I went up to David and said 'welcome back Cotts'. We have been waiting for a performance like that from him. He's been working hard and we have seen glimmers of his talent in training.

"It would be great if he starts performing, we've got 14 games left and if he can finish the season like he did last season it will be a massive boost for us."

Cotterill is expected to start at Home Park for United's fixture against Plymouth Argyle.
