In what is an old football cliché the winger, who was initially signed by Danny Wilson in 2012 believes that the players (and supporters) should focus on each game as it comes. For Sheffield United, there next fixture is a home encounter with Oldham Athletic this Saturday.
"The aim is to get in the play-offs but, really, the only thing we can focus on is the match we've got coming-up." He said. "I know it sounds corny but, really, it's true. All we should be bothered about is getting the right result and taking care of ourselves. Not worrying about anything else."
Reaching the play-offs this season looks a difficult task, despite only being six points away from sixth placed Barnsley. An improvement will be required this Saturday if they are to achieve this goal.
