Luke aged 32, was waiting in the snaky queues at Beautiful Downtown Bramall Lane from 5:00am in the morning for 14 tickets for the Premiership showdown between Burnley and the Blades at Wembley Stadium.

After enduring a couple of hours outside the ticket office in chilly conditions, he had a phone call from The Football League notifying that he was the winner of the competition for two tickets for the Championship play-off final.

He couldn't quite believe what happened, as he explains: "I told the Football League guy who rang me 'You won't believe where I am! It's not a wind-up, is it? I'm outside Bramall Lane.

"I'd volunteered to queue up for my family and friends. If I'd have already won two tickets, I wouldn't have offered. I volunteered because I thought if I got there at 5:00am, I would be at work by 9:00am.

"I really thought it was a mate playing a gag on me. So thank you, Football League."

Luke did continue to queue up for the 14 tickets he required, and will sit in the two top seats which he won with his friend.
