Cullip, 31 has moved to Blue Square Premier League side Lewes after rejecting a contact from Gillingham, a club whom he joined in February 2008 having previously being at Queens Park Rangers.
He was signed by Neil Warnock for Sheffield United in December 2004 in a £250,000 deal from Brighton & Hove Albion. However his stay wasn't successful and moved on nine months later to Nottingham Forest.
Whilst with United he managed 15 appearances and netted once in an FA Cup thriller against Aston Villa in a 3-1 win, he also spent time at Watford on loan during his Bramall Lane spell.
During his career Cullip has also featured for Oxford United, Fulham and Brentford. He may face his former club Brighton & Hove Albion for his new club next Saturday in their pre-season encounter.
