Sheffield United match-winner Ched Evans is convinced the club are on an upward curve heading towards a play-off spot. Evans' free-kick clinched a 1-0 home win over Portsmouth on Saturday and saw them bounce back from a midweek mauling by Scunthorpe. The Wales international said: "We've been creating chances all season, we battered Scunthorpe and lost 4-0, but we weren't great against Portsmouth and won, so hopefully our luck has changed. "The lads are full of confidence, as a team we know our jobs and everyone is looking forward to a good season. "We need to get on a good run and I'm sure that will see us getting towards the top six."
