Sheffield United striker Ched Evans is hoping to shake off a knock in time to feature in Wales' friendly with Luxembourg this week. Evans fired the Blades into a 24th-minute lead in their draw at Cardiff on Sunday in front of Wales coach John Toshack. The 21-year-old, forced off midway through the second half, said after the 1-1 draw: "I picked up an injury which didn't help, but it was a great point in the circumstances. "I'm linking up with the Welsh squad to get the injury assessed by the physios and we'll see what happens." Blades' summer signing Daniel Bogdanovic is in the Malta squad to face Macedonia this week, while reserve goalkeeper Mihkel Aksalu is included Estonia's squad for their fixture with the Faroe Islands.
