The Blades, trailing 2-1 with five minutes left, levelled through Evans in the 85th minute and clinched back-to-back wins when Daniel Bogdanovic picked himself up after being fouled in the area to convert an 87th-minute penalty.
Evans, whose side are five points off the top six in 18th place, said: "Of course we can still do it. As far as I"m concerned it's definitely still possible.
"Teams have done it before. They've shown that you can make up ground pretty quickly in this league.
"Why can't we do that? Hard work will get us there. That's what we need to show to get ourselves back in the mix."
