Assistant boss Sam Ellis earlier in the week said: "It is still an ongoing situation and we have got to decide if he can improve our squad or not.
"He has a good attitude, has got pace, tries his best and is certainly something to work on but it will be down to the gaffer."
Nathan himself said: "What happens in the future will be down to the gaffer. If he needs me then we'll sit down and talk, if he doesn't then I'll thank him for giving me the opportunity for bringing me here and being part of a big squad."
