The two got in a verbal scrap with each other when the 'heat of the moment' took over. Lee Croft's stoppage time winner caused chaos between Chris and Lee but they have made up and confess that they were both showing passion for the club.
Captain Chris Morgan said: "It was a natural reaction, given the circumstances. Killa, Monty and Gary Naysmith had all tried to stop him, but Croft got through and smashed the ball home, although it took a nick off me which didn't help.
"We were looking at each other and everybody was massively frustrated, things spilled over and I appreciate it probably didn't look very nice.
"We were the first two in the showers and words were exchanged, but immediately after that the situation was defused and Dean Riddle followed us into the dressing-rooms to keep and eye on what was going off.
"Things like this happen and at least it showed that both of us care about what is happening for this club. Nobody is happy when they lose, especially in the last minute.
"It is a team game though and we all are there to help each other, so things like this must be put to bed. Lee wants a chance to show what he can do and we all know that he is an excellent footballer."
It was the second time United had conceded a stoppage time goal this campaign. Kevin Phillip's poked in the winner at St. Andrews in the season opener in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Hendrie said: "It happens in the heat of the moment when 90 minutes work goes down the drain, especially as we had almost nicked three points moments earlier. We spoke afterwards and agreed that it was all over and done with.
"It was very unfortunate but all it showed was just how much that defeat hurt us both. There is nothing I want more than to keep my head down, stay here and play a major part in United's progress."
