Both of them came through Blades Youth Training System Scheme to play a massive role in the 2002/03 seasons campaign.
Blades boss Neil Warnock said: "I'm delighted both wish to stay at the club. It shows they are committed to Sheffield United and that they think we are going in the right direction.
"It shows how highly we rate them to offer them new deals," he told the club's official website.
Tonge hit the national headlines when his two dramatic goals against Liverpool in Worthington Cup semi-final 1st leg won the game 2-1. He made his 50th appearance this season in the 2-0 defeat and has been honoured with a call up to England U-20's. Meanwhile Nick Montgomery has received a call up to Scotland U-21's.
