The on loan Spurs full-back, who was injured in yesterday's (Saturday's) game at Leicester, has ankle ligament damage and is likely to be out for a few weeks. It's an unfortunate injury for Walker, who has previously been under a few hefty challenges in the season, all on Sky, as Kevin Blackwell explains:
"He has ankle ligament damage and although you can't predict at this stage how long he will be out I don't think that we will see him for at least 2-3 weeks. I think we are cursed by SKY - we always pick up a serious injury when they cover us live"
Derek Geary, who replaced Walker at the Walkers Stadium last night (Saturday), could deputise again, but his gaffer has admitted that the Irishman is a bit 'rusty' having been sidelined for over a year and a half:
"He looked rusty at times, his timing was off and I worry that I am putting too much on him, but as usual his attitude and effort was brilliant."
Ryan France can also play right-back, so he'll also be considered by the boss.
