Sheffield FC vs. Ajax of Amsterdam
Sunday, 13 April 2008
@ Bramall Lane
It is unclear if the Dutch Masters will bring a full strengthen squad, but if they do you could be expected to see Edgar Davids, whom had a spell with Tottenham Hotspur as well as former Red Devils and Lazio defender Jaap Stam.
Other names whom could feature is Lurent Delorge who had a spell with Coventry City in their Premier League days as well as Dennis Rommedahl who had quite a stint at Charlton Athletic and Norwich City on loan.
However the big name to arrive in S2 will be Klaas Jan Huntelaar who was signed from PSV Ehindhoven in 2006 and threatens to be a major star in European football over the next few years - scoring 60 goals in 71 appearances for Ajax. He has already netted 18 goals in 22 caps for his national team also.
Tickets for this game are priced at £5 (adults) and £2 (concessions and U16's) and are on sale as of today from the Sheffield United ticket office. Also and adult purchasing a ticket for any of the Blades remaining home fixtures can receive a free child ticket for this friendly fixture.
