Due to request from West Yorkshire police the game has been put back a day. The kick-off will commence at 7:45pm on Wednesday night. Blades boss Kevin Blackwell said:
"It will be a tough Yorkshire derby with no quarter asked or given and cracking atmosphere. People think there is history between Town boss Stan Ternent and myself but we are really good mates now.
"He won the first one so I am hoping we have a really good match and that afterwards the drinks will be on Stan this time."
United progressed in the Cup after a 3:1 victory over League Two outfit Port Vale last week.
