Laszlo Bodnar is no longer in talks over a move to Sheffield United, according to the player's agent. Gary Speed made his first signing as Blades manager on Monday when he brought in 26-year-old full-back Jean Calve on loan from Nancy, and that move has effectively ended any attempts to bring in free agent Bodnar. However, his representative Zsolt Kugyela has refused to rule out an alternative move to England for the Hungary international. He told NSO: "They signed French player Jean Calve with very good conditions. He arrived instead of the Hungarian defender. "It's still a real possibility that Laszlo signs to an English club. We have had talks with other Championship clubs and what's more there are clubs interested in the Premier League. "We have had approaches from the Spanish first and second division too, we're negotiating with a couple of clubs."
