Sheffield United will play South American club champions Estudiantes in a pre-season friendly at Bramall Lane in August.The Blades will play the Argentinian side, managed by former Blades midfielder Alex Sabella, at the end of their open day on Sunday, August 1.Blades chief executive Trevor Birch said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for our supporters to watch our team against footballers with a great tradition of skilful football, and we're grateful that Estudiantes are making the trip just to play against ourselves."Estudiantes are the reigning Copa Libertadores champions, the South American equivalent of the UEFA Champions League and narrowly lost out to Barcelona in FIFA's World Club Cup final.Juan Sebastian Veron and Clemente Rodriguez are currently with Argentina in South Africa.
