Sheffield United have announced the signing of German goalkeeper Jordan Yamoah Amissah, who they hope will thrive in the Academy.
Amissah, who turns 17 on 2nd August has been signed from German giants Borussia Dortmund. He has previously played for Vfl Bochum and Schalke 04 Youth sides. Standing at 6ft 5inches he qualifies to represent both Germany and Ghana at International level.
The keeper isn’t the only youngster to be snapped up by the Blades. They have announced a further four signatures for the highly rated Academy. French defender Nicksoen Gomis from Evreux FC 2, and midfielder Reece York, 18 from Fulham.
In what has been a busy day of transfers, Harry Sheppard from Tadcaster Albion and Zak Brunt, formerly of Matlock Town have also put pen to paper.
