Sheffield United have completed the permanent signing of former Burnley defender Stephen Jordan. Jordan, who was not offered a new deal after three years at Turf Moor, has put pen to paper on an initial one-year deal. The 23-year-old began his career at Manchester City and went on to make 73 starts for the club in the Premier League after progressing through the youth ranks. Jordan, who had spent part of the summer with Portsmouth on their tour of the USA, completed his medical at Bramall Lane over the weekend.
