Sheffield United have joined Middlesbrough and West Brom in the hunt to sign QPR midfielder Luke Freeman.
Reports made in today’s Daily Mirror suggest that Chris Wilder has ‘made a move’ for Freeman, 26 and whilst fellow Championship clubs Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion have also shown an interest in the attacking-midfielder, it seems as though United’s interest is more developed.
It is understood that the former Bristol City man is valued at £3,000,000 and given the Blades windfall, fallowing the sale of Brooks to Bournemouth, along with Wilder’s budget already, United could well afford the asking price.
The current transfer window closes next week on Thursday, 9th August at 5:00PM.
