And now he's released more backing on United's side of things when he was interviewed by Sky Sports News on Thursday. He said: "We played Sheffield United at Bramall Lane and had we drawn or lost, we'd have been in their situation right now.
"From the very start I've been on Kevin McCabe's side and I spoke to him only this week to congratulate him on his success and I want him to get any amount of money he feels they've lost.
"I would also like the Premier League to stand up and do what is necessary. We're not having clubs telling us lies, I'm sorry it can't be done and they can't brush it under the carpet, which I think has been the policy, that can't be so.
"It has to be on the agenda at the next Premier League meeting and it has got to be discussed. If West Ham are found to have done things wrong twice without disclosing it, then the Premier League have got to be seen to stand up and take the necessary action.
"If it's points deducted, if it's a fine or whatever they've got to do, they must let democracy rule here."
Meanwhile in various newspapers it has been stated that Bolton Wanderers could take legal action on the Hammers.
