Slew, 18 has had a star studded season for the Blades, netting back to back hat-tricks in Academy fixtures against Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United whilst made headways in the reserves.
He also made his first team debut; coming on as a substitute in a Championship fixture against Watford whilst towards the end of the season was handed a starting role and noticed two goals for his efforts; his first at Preston (lost 1-3) and the second a week later – a last minute winner at home to Bristol City (3-2), firing past former England stopper David James.
At Academy level, under John Pemberton the young Blades reached the final of the FA Youth Cup for the first time in the clubs history, Slew netted an equaliser against Manchester United in the first leg at Bramall Lane before the Red Devils dominated the second at Old Trafford.
The Sheffield Star and Yorkshire Post believe that Premier League outfit Fulham are interested in his services and have offered a deal worth an initial £500,000 which could rise to £2,000,000 after further agreements.
It is believed that Sheffield United chiefs have turned down this offer and that the Cotteges are unwilling to go beyond a £1,000,000 deal.
