The Blades overcame Scunthorpe United in round one - beating the Iron on penalties at their Glanford Park ground and have now earned a tie against North-East side Hartlepool United, whom like the Iron were relegated from League One last season despite a brave battle to stave away from the drop.
Whilst no official announcement has been made the game is likley to take place on Tuesday, 8 October.
