Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell accepts new striker Daniel Bogdanovic will be centre of attention during the club's short stay in Malta. The Blades, whose main shirt sponsors are the Maltese tourist board, will spend four days of training on the Mediterranean island, culminating in a triangular tournament involving Birkirkara FC, the champions of the Maltese Premier League and Vittoriosa Stars FC. United's manager Kevin Blackwell, who signed Malta international Bogdanovic on a free transfer earlier this summer, said: "I'm sure added attention will be given to our Maltese signing, Bogdanovic. "The fact that his introduction starts in Malta will make this a special occasion for the player. "But the tour will provide an important opportunity for all our new signings to start gelling while we prepare the whole team for the start of the new season."
