"In he 1st half we were the better team and maybe should have gone in 1 up. In the 2nd half Argyle came at us as we expected them to but defended very well.
"Argyle are a top 6 merit, they are a good side, work very hard and look a threat- they ran riot against Colchester in midweek. We got a litte bit of luck when needed it but we earned that luck.
"That win gave us confidence. Hard work beats talent if talent doesn't work hard. We have a talented squad and realise that we have to work hard.
"I looked at the players in training on Friday and had a feeling because it was the best we've looked. Plymouth is one of the outposts and we've come a long way for this victory."
