After only losing two league games out of the eleven in charge he remains not dissapointed that he has recevied no information about his long term future as the Blades gaffer.
He said:"I am not in the least dissapointed that we have not yet got round discussing things. When i came here i didn't ask for long term deal, or even discuss money, we all agreed that we would see the season through and then take stock and i am happy with that.
"There are still matches to play and i recognise that Kevin McCabe, as an international business man, is very busy and is often in other parts of the world, so meeting up be awkward."
There has been speculation about other clubs wanting Blackwell but he refuses to comment on any speculation and says Sheffield United is his 2nd club.
"It is not for me to comment on any speculation about myself, although it is always nice when people notice what you do.
"But Bramall Lane is my second home, i love the place and feel comfortable here. I am confident in my own ability but have learnt to my cost how unpredictable football can be becasue my last two contracts have not been worth the paper they have been written on.
"If i wasn't comfortable here i might be worried about not talking yet but this is Sheffield United and i trust people here."
