Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell stressed patience is the key as his search for two more defenders continues. French triallist Jean Calve, currently with Nancy, started at right-back in Tuesday night's 1-0 friendly win at Notts County, where Ched Evans fired the winner. Blackwell said: "We know we need a recognised right-back adding to the squad. `Kozzy' (Rob Kozluk) showed what he can do, filling in at left-back, but we need more depth. "Looking at so many options in recent games shows just how patient I'm trying to be in ensuring that the next couple of defensive signings. "I could sign hundreds for the sake of it, but I'm intent on finding the right ones because if I do I think we will have a decent squad."
