Sharp moved from Bramall Lane to Scunthorpe United for a snip at £100,000 (+25% sell on fee) in July 2005. The forward, whom is now back with the Blades netted 53 goals in 82 League appearances for the Glanford Park outfit before returned to the Steel City in a £2,000,000 move after turning down offers from Norwich City and Sheffield Wednesday.

Other notable additions was former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Chris Waddle who joined Tottenham Hotspur from Newcastle United in 1985 for a mere £590,000 and went onto become an England great.
Meanwhile Bryan Robson also made the list when he moved from West Bromwich Albion to Manchester United in 1981 - unfortunately he won't made the list as one of Sheffield United's greatest managers to date. Elsewhere Paolo Di Canio (Sheffield Wednesday to West Ham United, 1999) and Steve Bull (West Bromwich Albion to Wolverhampton Wanderers, 1986).
Of former Sheffield United representatives; Ian Rush (Chester City to Liverpool, 1980), Peter Withe (Newcastle United to Aston Villa, 1980) and Paul McGrath (Manchester United to Aston Villa, 1989) were among the top 50.
A list of 50 worst Football Transfers was also included and although no direct move for any Sheffield United player was included, some former Blades did manage to make the list. These were; Dean Saunders (Galatasary to Nottingham Forest, 1996), Paul Furlong (Watford to Chelsea), Kevin Davies (Southampton to Blackburn Rovers, 1998) and Ade Akinbiyi (Wolverhampton Wanderers to Leicester City, 2000).
