In January, Brian Howard moved from one South Yorkshire outfit to another, when he agreed terms after a loan stint at Bramall Lane. United paid £500,000 for his services, but there were add on fees included, and that was if the Blades get promoted, the Tykes will receive a further £200,000.
And it doesn't end there, if Kevin Blackwell's men earn promotion, and they do survive in the Premier League, Barnsley will receive a further separate sum.
Barnsley owner Patrick Cyrne said: "It's not often I'll find myself supporting Sheffield United, but I will be on this occasion."
