The Championship boasts six new clubs every season with three sides being relegated from the Premier League and a further three promotion through League One. Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull City have already been relegated from top flight whilst Sheffield United were promoted as Champions, and followed by Bolton Wanderers in the automatic spot.
Having defeated Scunthorpe in the semi-finals Millwall will be looking to return to the Championship after a two year absence. The Lions will be looking for better luck this time around after they lost to Barnsley twelve months ago in the final at Wembley.
Bradford City will be looking to complete a back-to-back Yorkshire victory in Play-Off Finals, following Barnsley’s success after they bypassed Fleetwood Town in the semis. A victory for the Bantams will see them return to the Second tier for the first time since 2004 but Millwall will be confident having beaten City en-route to the Final last year.
The game will take place at Wembley Stadium today and kicks-off at 3:00pm.
